Frequently Asked Questions
What does a 25-bone waist trainer do?
25 flexible steel bones deliver firm, even 360° compression across your midsection — nearly three times the structure of a standard 8–10 bone trainer. Worn correctly, it shapes your waistline instantly while you have it on, supports your posture, and gives a smooth silhouette under clothing. Results are visible while worn — it's a shaping and support garment, not a weight-loss treatment.
How tight should a waist trainer fit?
Snug and supportive — never painful. You should be able to breathe normally, sit, and move without digging or pinching. If you feel dizzy or can't take a deep breath, it's too tight — size up. Curvy Waist SA runs true to size; if you're between sizes, size up for comfort and results.
Is it safe to wear a waist trainer every day?
Yes, when you're wearing the correct size. Build up gradually: 1–2 hours a day in week one, working up to a maximum of 8 hours as your body adjusts. Give your skin and core a break between wears, and never sleep in it.
Can I wear a waist trainer after having a baby?
Many of our customers do, once cleared by their doctor — typically from around 6 weeks postpartum, after bleeding has stopped. Start with short sessions of 1–2 hours and increase slowly. Always check with your OB-GYN first, especially after a C-section.
Is the latex safe for sensitive skin?
Our waist trainers use cotton-lined latex — soft cotton against your skin, durable latex on the outside for compression. If you have a latex allergy or sensitive skin, wear a thin cotton layer underneath and introduce wear time gradually to see how your skin responds.
How do I find my correct size?
Measure around the narrowest part of your waist with the tape snug but not tight, breathing normally. Match that measurement to our size chart — if you're between two sizes, size up. A properly fitted trainer shapes and supports; a too-tight one just hurts.
